Usha Krishnan is a freelance writer with over 10 years writing experience. She has lived and worked around the world, for major Public Relation agencies and clients, including British Airways, the Australian Oil and Gas Company, OMV, the Maybourne chain of hotels and the Four Seasons.
Usha has her Masters degree in Anthropology and Sociology and a number of Public Relations certifications. She is also a qualified Professional Organizer. She is updating her skills by working on obtaining a business writing certification from the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.
A brief background sketch of the work Usha’s done- She spent the entire 90's in Dubai, working with Media companies such as ART (Arab Radio and Television) and STAR TV (a Rupert Murdoch ownership). She set up and ran her own Events company, Eventus and worked as the Customer Service Department Head for Deira City Center (the then largest shopping mall in the Middle East). From 2001-2005, she worked with one of the largest European/Mediterranean PR agencies, Action Global Communications, handling the PR for their largest client, British Airways in 15 countries (out of the network's 28).
Usha currently lives in Vancouver with her husband, 2 children and an assortment of fish. She is passionate about reading, writing, traveling, green living, running, yoga and music. She hopes to one day write a book or two and travel the world with her family in tow.
